while cleaning out my desk in the office, i found this on a post-it. kahit mabubunot na lahat ng buhok namin sa stress the night before this was made, natanggal kahit papano ang sakit ng ulo ko dito.

The Good Morning Poem by Gabi Espaldon - Feb. 6, 2008

Hey hey hey

It's another day

We're gonna sell some toner

It ain't over 'til it's over

So wake up and open your eyes

It's not too late to apologize

Let's drink some beer tonight

But not until the deck is right

We're gonna make this iconic

We'll work til we're sick

Then make a product window

Then say Oh My God I don know

Ogilvy oh Ogilvy, I'm going Crazy

In the Pond's room with Mike, Mona ans Sushki

Let's eat Ruffles and Ellen's cookies

You and me, we're the Rookies

I think I've lost my marbles.

haaay pond's. haaay ogilvy. i'll miss you.

stopping in the highway to watch the fireworks. slow dance. stars by the shore. the long drive home. yellow post-its everyday. flowers at 3am. the surprise reservation. shopping. close/open. drunkenly falling on the sand while dancing. timezone. fight night. wii. mcdonald's drive through. ruffles, chocolates and baon. the favorite yellow shirt. the blue rose. the hoodie. midnight stress and hugs badly needed. cheers. the daily reminder. why not.

...
it reaches a point when friendship isn't about whom you eat lunch with, whom you spend weekends with or whom you text incessantly about how your date went. it's not as easy as when we were in school. eventually, it becomes as simple as knowing who'll be on the other line when you feel like everything's fucked.

It's one of the best books I've read despite the cheesy title. It's another one of those devil wears prada, nanny diaries books that they've turned into a movie. I don't think it'll do the book any justice, though. The trailer made it look like some happy chick flick which isn't how I found it to be.

GRRR
great. instead of starting work today i have to be stuck at home. specifically, in bed since i don't want to be confined in a hospital. why why why are freak accidents attracted to me? although everyone is telling me to prioritize my health/recovery, i'm still more scared about my job because i don't know if it can wait for me. hopefully, everything gets better and i won't be needing surgery. so to all my friends, your prayers would be much appreciated. gaahhhh. i want my job and if i have to, i will force myself to sit, stand and walk properly if they tell me i need to be there!

this is what happens when you are sleepy, not in the mood and annoyed with the interviewer but all the while maintain a sweet smile plastered on your face:

why is the sky blue:
because blue is a happy color and when people look up in the sky, they become happy. if you looked up and it was dark all the time, that would just be so sad.

* apparently, light is reflected from the water. something like that.. i forgot what aaron explained. i never liked science.

why are polar bears white:
because they are in a clean environment so they stay white.

* i honestly realized after that it had something to do with adaptation or the environment.

i knew yesterday's interview wouldn't be great. i already had a bad feeling about it but oh well, i was bored.
